Daniel Price is the President of Hunt Energy Network, which focuses on developing and growing modern technology ventures surrounding the rapid market and technology changes in the energy industries. Prior to his current position, Mr. Price served as CTO at Sharyland Utilities where he led innovation and efficiency efforts in Information Technology and Operations Technology. Mr. Price began his career at Hunt as part of the team that created Sharyland Utilities, the first green field utility start-up company in over 40 years. He has also led start-up companies in renewable energy development, advanced meter systems, and oil/gas financial systems. 

Mr. Price graduated the University of Texas Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. As a researcher, he helped build an electron microscope and specialized in surface science spectroscopy and microscopy. Mr. Price holds a patent in metering technology.

Mr. Price is also the Chairman and founding board member of Village Tech Schools, a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade charter school with an emphasis on innovation and design thinking.
